At Sweet Dee’s Beauty Parlour, giving back to our community is something we truly value.

Our owner is also the founder of SDBP CT Rescue, a small, foster-based dog rescue located in Connecticut. While there is a personal connection, SDBP CT Rescue operates as an independent entity and is not part of the business operations of Sweet Dee’s Beauty Parlour.

From time to time, the salon may help support awareness efforts or contribute to the rescue’s mission. However, SDBP CT Rescue operates independently, and all rescue activities, funding, and decision-making are separate from the salon’s business operations.

About SDBP CT Rescue

SDBP CT Rescue is a small, foster-based dog rescue located in Connecticut. We assist in the rescue, vetting, placement into safe foster homes, and adoption of dogs in need.

While we are just getting started, our mission is clear and our commitment is strong—to provide safe, responsible, and compassionate care for every dog we take in. We believe that even doing our small part can contribute to a much bigger picture in helping animals in need.

Through mentorship and partnerships, we are committed to continually strengthening our standards of care and evolving our efforts to better support the animal welfare crisis in Connecticut.

Our approach is centered on providing each dog with individualized care in a home environment, allowing them the time and support needed to decompress, adjust, and prepare for a successful transition into their forever home.

Growing Responsibly

As a foster-based rescue, our capacity depends on the availability of safe and reliable foster homes. We are committed to growing responsibly and ensuring that every dog we take in receives the care and placement they deserve.

At this time, our focus is on placing the dogs currently in our care while actively working to build a strong network of fosters.

Community & Advocacy

​

In addition to our direct rescue efforts, we support the broader rescue community through fundraising, volunteering, cross-posting, and sharing important information to help more dogs find homes.

When we are at capacity, we continue to advocate by helping increase visibility for dogs still searching for homes.
